The cottage is located in an elevated position with panoramic views over the village and lake to the Grizedale Forest on the far side.
With full gas central heating and a living flame gas fire in the lounge it provides all the comforts you could want.
The kitchen is full equipped with cooker. microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a good range of utensils, crockery, glasses etc.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with WC, bath and overhead electric shower whilst downstairs the utility room has a second WC and a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The patio at the front of the property has a picnic table and chairs and provides excellent views of the Lake District scenery.

How to find us.
In the centre of the village there is a petrol station and almost opposite is Station Road, proceed up here for about 100 m and the road bends slightly left and then appears to become very steep. At this point turn left and immediately right up a steep lane marked THE BANKS. As the lane levels out in about 100 m you will come to a row of cottages, Thurston View is in the center of this row, the parking space is at the end of the row and is marked PRIVATE THURSTON VIEW.

Terms and conditions
One third deposit (non-returnable) is required on booking, payable either by cheque or Bank Transfer
The balance is due six weeks before date of arrival.
After making a booking clients become responsible for the full amount should they have to cancel. Every effort will be make by the owners to re-let the property in which case a refund of the balance may be payable. We strongly suggest you should take out your own holiday insurance to cover your needs.
We aim to present the accommodation to the satisfaction of incoming guests and ask that it is left in the same condition you found it.
Any loss or damage must be reported and paid for before leaving
Consideration for other guests is expected at all times. Unreasonable behaviour may result in guests being required to vacate the property immediately without refund.
The owners reserve the right to enter the property if they consider circumstances deem it necessary. Should the owners have to cancel for any reason they shall only be liable for refunding the amount paid.
Keys are normally available from 2pm to 4pm on day of arrival but other arrangements may be possible if required.
The property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
